Proposed group standard for treated seed

[b]Overview[/b] We are proposing to issue a new group standard under the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 (HSNO Act) for treated seed. 1. Are there any active ingredients you think should be added to, or excluded from, the sample list of active ingredients expected to be covered under the proposed group standard scope listed in Appendix 3 of the consultation document?
2. What are your comments on the proposed reporting requirements? Please provide details.

4. Importers and manufacturers will need to know the hazard classification(s) of the substances used to treat the seed to be able to assign the seed to the group standard. What are your comments on this?
5. Importers and manufacturers using the group standard will need to comply with the Hazardous Substances (Hazardous Property Controls) Notice 2017 (except for clauses 50, 51, and 54(1)). What are your comments on this, particularly in relation to clauses 60, 63 and 64 (qualification requirements)?
